We understand the importance of perfectly completing your creative vision. In order to best help you, we strive to offer not only an extensive selection of inventory, but also the service, expertise, and friendly atmosphere that decorators and propmasters have come to expect from The Alpha Companies.

The Alpha Companies extend a warm and sincere invitation for you to visit our ever-expanding 130,000 square foot building and 40,000 square foot showroom. Our showroom is brimming with inventory for all your set decorating and prop requirements. Seeing is believing!

Alpha Medical Resources has doubled the existing inventory in the past year, making us the largest supplier of medical props in the country, catering exclusively to the motion picture industry.


Services

The Alpha Companies provide custom engineering of existing props and materials. Available on premises, this service includes a painting spray booth, alteration shop and upholsterer.

The Alpha Companies work with shows of all budgets to acquire the look appropriate for your project.

Upon request, Alpha Medical Resources will provide free script breakdown and on-set technical assistance to accurately dress and complete the authenticity of your sets. We will accommodate special requests when scripts call for period pieces. We will provide a list of registered nurses, technicians and MDs with motion picture experience to work with your production staff and actors. Also, Alpha Medical Resources will assist your location manager with finding suitable hospital film sites in the greater Los Angeles area or other specified locations.

Medical / Laboratory
From Hospital, Veterinary, Morgue, and Laboratory  sets, to Doctor, Dental and Ophthalmologist Offices, Alpha Medical Resources complete inventory of set dressing and props including medical disposable items. Styles range from Period to Cutting Edge Technology. Also available is the latest technology used in Diagnostic Imaging, including X-ray, CatScan, and MRI machines. We also have 24 Frame liquid crystal EKG monitors and Anesthesia Machines, that synchronize to camera. Upon request we will provide free script breakdown and on-set technical assistance to accurately dress and complete the authenticity of your sets.

From High-end Executive Office Décor to Police Bullpen Furnishings, The Alpha Companies offers an extensive inventory, from the unique Traditional and Modern pieces from Spellman Desk to the Contract Furniture styles from Alpha II. Le Corbusier, Mies Van Der Rohe, Herman Miller, Haller, Harper, Tanker, and Steelcase styles are among the many brands available. Our inventory expansion also includes leather pieces, couches, armchairs, Lobby/ Waiting Area seating, Hotel, Library, and Courtroom furniture. 

Speciality Furnishings
From Restaurant Booths to Fire Hydrants, The Alpha Companies Specialty Department is an abundant resource of hard to find props. Featuring: School Sevices, Food Service (Restaurant/Cafeteria), Exterior Street Dressing, Lobby/Waiting Area, Vending Machines, Warehouse, and so much more…Give us a call regarding that elusive prop, it might just be in our inventory. 

Cleared Artwork
Our Gallery offers only Fully Cleared Artwork, in an expansive selection of styles. Over 600 pieces of cleared artwork are currently available, with new shipments arriving seasonally. Styles range from Modern to Traditional, Prints to Original Oils, as well styles for Children, Portraiture /Ethnic styles, Asian Art, and those hard to find Vintage treasures that you used to buy at the flea market. Also available are a huge selection of cleared Anatomical Charts, Birthing and Educational Posters.
